He Chose Her Child, So I Left with Ours

He Chose Her Child, So I Left with Ours Plot

During a rogue attack, my daughter was abandoned by her Alpha father once again.

My fated mate, Ronan, is the great Alpha of the Silverpine Pack—but he is anything but a good father. To repay the warrior who died saving him, Ronan has devoted himself to protecting the man’s widow, Mara, and her son, Noah. Time after time, he chooses them over his own wife and daughter.

The entire pack praises his loyalty and honor. But only I know that every promise he keeps to Mara teaches our daughter, Ivy, to stop waiting for him.

Then one day, Ivy writes in a school assignment:

*My father is dead. He didn’t die at the border. He died at Mara’s house. Every time she called, he went to her and forgot how to come home.*

Only then does Ronan finally realize something is wrong and return with a belated gift.

But he doesn’t know that a summons from the Northern Crown has already reached me—or that Ivy has finally made her choice.

In fifteen days, I will take my daughter home, reclaim my identity as the Alpha King’s daughter, and become the Northern Crown’s next chief healer—the future I once gave up for Ronan.

By the time he returns to our empty home, it will already be too late.
